C’est La Vie Branding Refresh

As a personal project, I rebranded C’est La Vie,
a charming French bistro from my hometown. While I love their food, their visual identity felt outdated, so I created a fresh look that stays true to their laid-back, locally-owned vibe.

I redesigned their Instagram highlight bubbles as hand-drawn doodles in Adobe Illustrator to reflect their friendly, approachable atmosphere.

I also used Adobe Firefly to generate the product imagery seen in these Instagram graphics to the right and added simple text that aligned with the new look.

My focus was to create clean, appetizing visuals and a color palette that feels both familiar to their old look, but elevated at the same time.

Here are some of my branding designs for C’est La Vie in action! I wanted the visuals to match the bistro’s charming atmosphere and high-quality dining experience.

I created branded to-go bags for delivery services and leftovers, coffee cups for their delicious French espresso, and a modern street sign that ties in with their new Instagram profile picture, perfect for catching attention among nearby shops.

I also designed business cards for the owner, Geraldine, to display and hand out in catering orders. Each piece was made to elevate the experience of dining at C’est La Vie, while retaining its warm, neighborhood feel.
